Air contaminants such as lead, silica, chromium, asbestos, organic vapors, wood dust, welding fume, formaldehyde, etc. are ongoing challenges in both the general industry and construction business sectors. Access Safety’s Board Certified Safety Professionals are available to assist with your air sampling project, or manage it for you on a turn-key basis.
Starting with the preliminary assessment we prepare a sampling strategy and project plan to ensure specific regulatory requirements are met. Personal air sampling pumps, diffusion badges, and substance specific sampling media are used to collect representative employee exposure samples. |
The samples are then packaged appropriately and sent to our AIHA accredited laboratory for analysis. The laboratory analytical results are used as the basis for documenting compliance or better understanding employee exposure compared to the OSHA permissible exposure limits (PEL’s), ACGIH threshold limit values (TLV's) and other occupational exposure limits. The results are also used to support the company’s respiratory protection and hazard communication programs.
Results are presented in a clear, professional and OSHA compliant report. Laboratory turnaround is usually under 5 business days, but rush service is available. Please call for a project quote or to learn more about our air sampling services.
